In September 2014, Dundee Sustainable Technologies Inc. (DSTI) has designated San Juan Mining S.A., its representative for all the Argentine Republic.

DSTI is a Canadian company that has developed an economically viable alternative for the extraction of gold and other minerals without the usage of cyanide.

This company has also developed hydrometallurgical processes for the extraction of base and precious metals from ores, concentrates and tailings, which cannot be exploited with conventional processes because of internal refractoriness or environmental considerations.

In September 2014, DSTI has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of the Province of San Juan and with the University of San Juan in order to establish the viability for the Implementation of the technologies developed by DSTI in the mining industry of San Juan, and eventually of Argentina.
